In this demo system there are three fictitious trials which you are welcome to manipulate. To give you access for trial purposes, the passwords are: Rock river -- bobo Orange valley -- orange Peach Tree -- peach INTRODUCTION This version of TrialMaster is a prototype for a complete Web based information management system for working dog trials using a relational data base. This implementation is specific to protection dog sports such as IPO or the German Schutzhund system involving seperate evaluations for tracking, obedience and protection. Other working or conformation sports would require modifications specific to the formats of those events. Conceptually a complete trial could be run without anybody, anywhere, touching a pencil or piece of paper. The handler can complete an on line entry with automatic submission. At trial entry closing, the trial secretary can disable trial entry and validate the entries, that is, delete those not paid or unacceptable. The trial secretary or anyone knowing the pass word can enter scores and results. A magazine editor could lift trial information directly in tab separated format and after the trial complete records will exist in the data base, forming a comprehensive historical record. The browser public page allows anyone to view results of previous trials and upcoming trials, along with complete entry information. The Master Administrative Page The trial system administrator, or anyone with the over all admin password, can bring up the administration page for complete system control. Trials can be created and deleted only from the admin page, and all of the individual trial administration pages can be entered from the admin page, giving each person with this password complete control and access over all system data, including individual trials. The individual trial page has a button allowing a person to fill in a form and make an on line trial entry. ( This feature may be disabled by the trial secretary.) Technical details:
